But what we have never, ever experienced in our lifetimes, is a Saturn/Neptune conjunction in Aries. Which occurs on Feb 20. And also if you are familiar with anaretic transits or what I like to call ‘In and Out’ astrology, then you know these are times when the energy change is at its peak.

With the change of the Nodes, the eclipse cycle shifts. So, the eclipses now take place across your 3rd/9th house axis. You know eclipses conceal and cover up. They are a blind spot or in the case of a total eclipse – a complete blackout. Eclipses are neither good nor bad despite the superstitions around them. Just like a retrograde – they simple ARE. But do use extra caution around the time of the eclipses with any of the areas I have outlined above. And do avoid booking or actually travelling at these times if you possibly can.

In particular, the annular solar eclipse in Aquarius and your 9^th on Feb 17 which ushers in the Chinese New Year of the Horse, can blindside you as it squares Uranus still in Taurus and your 12^th. The total eclipse in Leo on Aug 12 is a complete cover-up. Do allow for 2-3 days before the eclipse takes place and the same afterwards.

Those eclipses can also hide unexpected luck and an unlooked for change of direction. Or something you said, shared or submitted turns out to be far more important that you first realised. Fate is always at work with the Nodes. Destiny takes a hand. Your 9^th is your house of big dreams and plans. And also your house of luck. So, luck or chance will seem to play a role here. But as this cycle progresses – and it lasts 18-20 months, you will come to realise luck has nothing to do with it. Yet it does. Luck is a universal force like gravity.
