And the Capricorn stellium which forms at the very start of the year – Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars, ignites a desire to go further.

Saturn and Neptune are now poised to enter Aries and your deep seeking and spiritual 12^th house. Where secrets reside and are also exposed. Amongst these are the secrets we keep from ourselves. And with Chiron moving from Aries to your sign on June 19, you can expect what’s hidden to be exposed and examined in order to be healed, released or put behind you.

Neptune crosses from your 11^th to your 12^th on Jan 26. Saturn follows on Feb 14. And for the very first time in all our lifetimes, the two planets meet in Aries on Feb 20^th. Just four days after a pivotal eclipse in Aquarius and your 10^th house.

You will now know for certain if you are on the right path, in the right place or even with the right person. Your career, ambitions, status – this includes your employment status or role as well as your relationship status, and your public image will now be a long term and major area of focus for you. This also includes self-rulership, Taurus. Your reign under Jupiter in Leo will involve you deciding just how your queen/kingdom is ruled as your 4^th house isn’t just about family and traditions, but your path in life. You rule, Taurus. And get to make the rules.

Many are calling Jupiter’s arrival in Leo ‘The Summer of Love’. Not just because it occurs in summer. But also because Leo is the sign ruled by the Sun. Jupiter isn’t just here for summer but will unpack for a 12 month stay. Shining on property matters, where you live, family ties and your roots. Your foundations and what shelters and supports you.

Upgrading your residence, moves and relocations – often big ones, happen with Jupiter in your 4^th. And if money has been a stumbling block, Jupiter often gives you a helping hand over it. Especially with its transit coinciding with Uranus in your money zone. This is why I advised you to channel any Uranian ‘wins’ into long term plans. Such as your home or investing in your future path and security.

You could extend your present home. Perhaps even to accommodate a growing family as Jupiter expands. Or you purchase a home in an area which then undergoes a property boom. Your low-ball offer is accepted. You pull up those roots and relocate to a different suburb, or a totally different part of the country. Or even a different country entirely. Even if you are renting, you could end up with a far better or larger home than you imagined your budget allowed. Jupiter wants you presiding over your domain.

No matter what, you will enter into a commitment in terms of your place, path or lifestyle at some point during Jupiter’s stay in here. Where you establish yourself and rule. This includes your co-ruler, Taurus. Any partnerships formed during this Jupiter transit tend to be loving and harmonious. You share the same values especially when it comes to family or the kind of home and lifestyle you want to create. Others may take that step and move in or purchase a home together.

Do however pay attention to people you meet who cause you to look at your lifestyle and reflect on the path you have chosen. This is Uranus working with Jupiter. Be awake and aware as they may show you where you may have simply opted to stay ‘safe’ – but cut yourself off from what life potentially has to offer you. In terms of living and also owning your journey.

Home is very much where your heart is in ‘26. But with Nodes changing signs comes a change in the eclipse axis. I’ve already mentioned the long term ripple effect of the first eclipse of the year – the Annular Solar Eclipse in Aquarius and your career zone. The Sun rules Leo and your 4^th. So, as a general rule of thumb, you should avoid property or any decision which has potential long term implications around eclipses as no matter if it is a solar or lunar eclipse, the Sun is always impacted. But definitely at the time of a solar eclipse.

We have a second solar eclipse on Aug 12 in your 4^th. And this is a total eclipse of the Sun. Please avoid property matters and any decisions that involve go/stay choices or moving in/moving out in the days leading up to this eclipse. And for at least three days following it. This includes leaving a job or a relationship. As well as an actual physical move of home. Buying, selling, renting or leasing property. Renovations, redecoration, hiring a cleaner, contractor or interior designer. Or a big decision around a family member. This is a total blackout. You are completely in the dark over a hidden element that could be right on your doorstep. Or in the same room.

Eclipses are neither good nor bad. They are evolutionary points of change. But we may not yet see what kind of change. Or the one we should set in motion. Which is why we need to wait for the shadows to clear. Because we are talking about the house where your heart lives, when the lights get turned back on, you could find your heart has changed its mind. Or is now tugging you in another direction. Which is why you need to avoid anything which locks you into something long term – a mortgage, lease, contract etc.

The October/November Venus Retrograde

Pause ahead of this year’s Venus retrograde and understand you have not one but FOUR planets which rule love and partnerships. I did say you rule this year, Taurus. And you might like to think of yourself as the royal catch being wooed by several equally regal suitors from other kingdoms. First there’s the ruler of your sign – Venus. Venus rules partnerships and money in general for you. But what about the others? When it comes to romance, flings to be flung and attraction – that’s Mercury as it rules Virgo and your 5^th. So, single Taureans should avoid seeking or swiping under a Mercury retrograde. Or may have noticed how that hot prospect ghosted you under a Mercury retro in the past.

When it comes to marriage, long term commitments, live in lovers, working unions, business partners, collaborators and your Ride or Die – you have two rulers. Mars and Pluto as they rule Scorpio and your 7^th house. You now have Pluto in Aquarius and your 10^th until 2043. This tells you to expect powerful shifts and transformations around partnerships. Remember – your 10^th rules your status as in single, married, divorced. As well as your partner’s status in life.

Positive transits of Venus, Mars and Pluto will always be excellent times for love and partnerships. Look to the Venus/Mars conjunction in Capricorn on Jan 8 and Venus’ meeting with Pluto on Jan 20 as wonderful dates for lover’s meetings and partnership decisions. March sees Venus in your sign while Mars transits your 1^st in May/June.

However, Venus will retrograde in Scorpio and your 7^th on Oct 3. And square both Mars and Pluto shortly after. Mercury will also retrograde in Scorpio from Oct 24. This puts all four of your love planets either backwards or under pressure. Plus the full Moon in your sign on Oct 26 squares Pluto. Needless to say, this is certainly not the time to be looking for any new connection. Especially as you are the sign which craves the lasting. Tackle any issues or tensions in existing unions and do not let them fester.
